Many factories that produce hot-pressed wood veneer have encountered such a problem: the wood veneer after hot-pressing either cracks, curls at the edges, or shows glue and bubbles?
I suspect that the wood veneer is not good enough, that the machine's hot pressing temperature is too high and the pressure is too great, or that too much or too thick glue has been applied! Despite thorough investigations from all aspects, the problem still cannot be solved one hundred percent.

To understand bubbling, cracking and glue penetration, we have to start with the glue used! Traditional hot-pressed veneer lamination mostly uses urea-formaldehyde glue or modified white latex glue.
Urea-formaldehyde adhesive, needs to be mixed! The glue is not environmentally friendly and is prone to seeping through. The temperature requirement for hot pressing is above 100 degrees. Under such high temperatures, the wood veneer loses water rapidly, which naturally leads to cracking.
Modified white latex adhesive has insufficient thermal strength. When pasting solid wood or multi-layer boards, it is very prone to warping and bubbling.
The insufficiency of the adhesive's performance brings more and higher requirements and details to the hot-pressing process, and naturally, more problems with wood veneer application are prone to occur.

Improve the solution
Improve the glue and introduce a more high-quality and targeted hot-press wood veneer adhesive: Fushen GW-6528A hot-press wood veneer adhesive.
